The Newport Beach Boat Parade 2022 marks the 114th year for the parade, making it one of the oldest running holiday traditions in the country. It’s also the largest boat parade on the West Coast, with over two hundred official entrants and many more unofficial participants.

The Newport Beach Boat Parade is a 5-day event that takes place in December, starting on the third Wednesday of the month through Sunday of the same week.

  • Wednesday, December 14, 2022: This is the opening night of the parade and starts at approximately 6:15 pm. There’ll be a special opening fireworks display off the Newport Pier to kick off the parade.

How Long Does the Parade Last?
